Because up to a 10% blend of ethanol can be used in any vehicle, in some areas it is labeled and in some it is not.

NEW YORK (AP) - Shares of farm equipment companies rose Tuesday, after an analyst upgraded their shares, saying an increase in demand could result in a corn shortage in 2007. David Bleustein of UBS Investment Research said demand for corn, propelled by increased ethanol production, may be so strong next year that farmers may be unable to keep up. The result would be higher corn prices and increases in the share prices of farm equipment stocks, he said. .
